Accessing your cPanel file from file manager

What is cPanel file manager? 

cPanel organizes all the files in your account into folders. Use the File Manager interface to manage and edit your files. It looks similar to window explorer file manager if you familiar with the windows file explorer

Steps in accessing your cPanel's File Manager

    • Please follow the tutorial on how to access AkolagTech Cpanel by clicking here
    • Login to your Cpanel account and under "FILES" click on "File Manager", click on the "public_html" folder in your root or top directory

      NOTE: If you already created .htaccess file and its hidden you need to enable hidden file from cPanel's File Manager

      • To see the hidden files, from the top right side, click on "Settings", then  "Preferences",  select "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)
      • Go to cPanel -- > cPanel's file manager
      • Click on "Settings" on the top-right menu beside "Search"
      • Check the "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)"
      • And save 
    • From cPanel file manager you can create folder, upload, download, create a file, delete a file, copy a file and more
